In 1971, a young man named Maxime Le Forestier crossed over the Atlantic to spend the summer in the Castro District of San Francisco. It is in this unique, dynamic and innovative environment that the Paris born singer composed his 1972 debut “La Maison Bleue (The Blue House)”, which tells the story a blue-painted house set aside a San Francisco hill. 39 years later and over one million copies sold, the famous French singer is embarking on a nostalgic trip of memories culminating in an exclusive June 24 concert at San Francisco’s Herbst Theatre.
