24 year old composer, author and singer from Ghana, Benjamin emigrated from London to Paris in 2009 and started to play in the Parisian metro where he used to sing covers from James Brown, Nina Simone, Bob Marley…

In 2011, Benjamin Clementine’s talent is discovered by the indie French label Ekleroschock and a well-known event organizer in Paris. Benjamin started doing showcases at famous film festivals and getting recognition from famous French artists such as Vanessa Paradis. He just released his first Piano & Vocals EP ‘Cornerstone’ in 2013.

Described by famed English punk-rocker Andy Gill as “one of 2014′s most promising new talents” (Clementine grew up in North London), his spare voice and piano sound is often likened to a cross between that of Nina Simone and Antony Hegarty. Rolling Stone also named Clementine one of the “10 Artists to Know in 2014“.
