Biography
General Elektriks is the brainchild of French vintage keyboard player, composer, singer and producer Hervé Salters. Blending keyboard funk, oldschool pop and hip hop beats in his home studio in the San Francisco Bay Area, Salters has released 5 albums as General Elektriks: ‘Cliquety Kliqk’ (2003), ‘Good City For Dreamers’ (2009), ‘Parker Street’ (2011), ‘To be a stranger‘ (2016) and ‘Carry no Ghosts‘ (2018), and their their last EP Late Delivery (2019).
General Elektriks just released a new album and subsequent music video titled “Party Like A Human”.They speak of this record as a real “big gap between the popular and the experimentation”. An interpretation taken to the extreme of what he calls “L’Art Funk”.
