Nouvelle Vague Cover “I Could be Happy”, debut in Brooklyn Vegan

Nouvelle Vague will soon be releasing their latest album, with a new single just debuted on Brooklyn Vegan. Here’s what the blog had to say:

“Parisian band Nouvelle Vague…made a splash in the mid-’00s with their kitschy, jazzy (often sublime) lounge covers of early ’80s punk and post-punk tunes. The group — Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux with a variety of singers — are back with their fifth LP, I Could Be Happy, which will be out November 4 via Kwaidan Record / !K7. We’ve got the premiere of the LP’s title track, which was originally by Altered Images who had a Top 10 UK hit with it in 1981.”
