See How Stromae Surprised New Yorkers in this Pitchfork Video Debut

Continuing his famous “Lessons” video series, international music phenomenon by way of Belgium, Stromae surprised many a passerby in New York by performing “Papoutai” in various famous locations around the city, from the Brooklyn Bridge to Times Square, to in the subway.

With many of his North American shows long sold-out, Stromae will be joined by Janelle Monae at the most-famed of New York venues, Madison Square Garden on October 1st. A household name throughout the world, Americans have recently fallen for Stromae-o-mania, with acclaimed performances recently at Coachella, SXSW, and a remix from Kanye West himself.
