09/07 – Parisian Ball @ Governors Island

After the huge success of their Bastille Day Parisian Ball, Babel New York return to take you on another wonderful adventure. This new event again takes on a very French theme focusing on the fashion world – an industry that Paris is famous for, thanks to its many world-dominating haute couture houses and expert teams of designers. The glamorous catwalks of Paris will be transferred to the same amazing location as the Parisian Ball – Governors Island.

For such a spellbinding event to take place, of course we’ve assembled an elite team to set things off just right. The team includes Olivier Van Themsche (The Cools), Tommy Saleh (Le Baron),Travis Bass (ex Bow, 415), Patrick Duffy (Hotel Americano, In tandem Magazine), Sam Ben Avraham (Liberty) and Michael Fragoso (Le Garcon) to name a few. Meanwhile, press interest is already frantic with leading fashion outlets such as Style.com, What to Wear Daily and the mighty Wall Street Journal already throwing the hat in the ring as far as coverage in concerned.

Heading the bill is Boston duo Soul Clap, AKA Charlie Levine and Eli Goldstein, the original East Coast selectors will be on hand with their extensive record collection and non-stop party vibes as usual. These guys have been travelling the world bringing their unique blend of house, funk, soul, disco and much more to captive audiences from Australia and Japan to Brazil and Russia.
