Hamza is thrilled to announce his first ever North American tour. Kicking off on November 28th, the Belgian rap star will be making stops in Toronto, Quebec City, Montreal, and New York City. Hamza will be making his debut New York City performance at Brooklyn’s Rough Trade NYC on Wednesday, December 4th. Tickets available now.
Hamza’s North American tour comes in support of his critically acclaimed debut album Paradise (Deluxe), available now via Just Woke Up / Rec. 118 / Warner France (Listen Here). Originally released on March 1st, Paradise immediately shot to #1 Album Streaming Charts. It has received over 130M streams to date, with ‘HS (feat. SCH)’ going certified Gold. Featuring some of France’s biggest artists – Christine and the Queens, Aya Nakamura, SCH, and Oxmo Puccino – Paradise is a celebration of French-language artists pushing through to English-language audiences.
Building upon the massive success of his debut album, Hamza returned with Paradise (Deluxe) on August 2nd. The extended edition includes hit bilingual single ‘Madonna’ featuring Peruvian-born, breakout star A.CHAL. The track skyrocketed with both American and French fans, garnering 1.2M Spotify streams.
Over the last 5 years, Hamza has been able to carve his own path as the missing link between the Atlanta, Toronto and Brussels scenes, with co-signs from OVO’sOliver El-Khatib and Drake himself (watch here). He has received praise from Beats 1, No Jumper, Pitchfork, Vice, COLORS, Highsnobiety, and just recently headlined Pitchfork Paris 2019.
Hamza will be headlining New York’s Rough Trade NYC on Wednesday, December 4th. Find all tour information below.
